MOSTAR, Feb 22 (Hina) - Speaking of charges filed against him by
the Mostar police, Deputy Mayor of Mostar, Safet Orucevic, said on
Saturday that charges were not against him but against "the free,
single and joint Mostar."
"Those who have filed charges against me have lost the case in
advance, as Dayton delivered a verdict on them, and The Hague
remains only," the local eastern Mostar television quoted Orucevic
as saying to the BH-press.
In a statement, which the local television broadcast on
Saturday evening, Orucevic said he would ask the international
community to "impose special military and police measures for the
area of Mostar, if the Mostar HDZ (Croatian Democratic Union) fails
to implement fully the Sarajevo agreement on Mostar, reached on
February 12."
"Attacks against SFOR in Mostar as well as inefficiency of
investigation proceedings of the attacks create a sense of chaos in
the town and contribute to further destabilisation of the
situation," Safet Orucevic said.
