SPLIT, Feb 26 (Hina) - The German SFOR navy base on Wednesday completed its two-month move from Seget Donji (near Trogir, Croatia) to Rajlovac (near Sarajevo), and the Croatian army again took possession of the barracks in Seget Donji
after the signing of a handover-and-acceptance document.

German SFOR troops commander Brigadier Friedrich Jeschonnek
stressed that the navy base, where 800 German soldiers and a Polish
hospital had been stationed, had played an important role in the
peace mission in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Jeschonnek thanked the Croatian army for their support to
multi-national forces, and especially the people of that part of
Croatia for their cooperation and understanding.
colonel Slavko Kralj, who had signed the document, said that
cooperation with German troops was and remained at a high level.
