SARAJEVO, 12 Feb (Hina) - Members of the Bosnian Council of
Ministers agreed on the Council's rules of procedure at a session
held on Wednesday.
The text of the rules of procedure was fully adjusted and its
signing could be expected soon, Council members Boro Bosic and
Haris Silajdzic told reporters after the session.
According to the solutions adopted at today's session, deputy
ministers will not have the right to vote in decision-making and
will formally not be council members. #L#
Bosic described the solution as a 'correct compromise'
although the Serb side had earlier insisted that deputy ministers
be members of the Council and have the right to vote.
Because of the Serb request it was not possible to adopt the
rules of procedure earlier.
Silajdzic said that today's conclusions strictly respected the
regulations of the Bosnian Constitution, agreed on in Dayton.
At today's session, the Council of Ministers did not consider
ten bills which were proposed by the office of the high
international representative in Bosnia, Carl Bildt, and are
necessary for the functioning of the state.
