MOSTAR, Feb 4 (Hina) - The head of Bidt's regional office in Mostar, Martin
Garrod, on Tuesday received a Danish Parliament Ombudsman, Hans Gammeltoft
along with three Bosnia-Herzegovina's Federation Ombudsmen Branka Raguz,
Vera Jovanovic and Esad Muhibic.
They agreed to establish closer relations between Federal Ombudsmen
and Garrod's office in Mostar, they said after the meeting.
According to the agreement, the Mostar-based Federal Ombudsman's
office is supposed to submit reports on human rights' situation to Garrod's
office every week and Garrod's office is expected to inform the Mostar
Federal Ombudsman's office of human rights in Herzegovina every week.
Hans Gammeltoft held that it was necessary to make better links
between (Croat-Moslem) Federation Ombudsmen and parliament.
The Danish guest stressed that his country was the first in the world
to set up the ombudsman institution forty years ago.
