SARAJEVO, 2 Jan (Hina) - A larger number of abandoned houses were destroyed in the past five days in the area south of Mostar, said Tony White, spokesman for the Stabilization Force (SFOR) in Bosnia. Most of the incidents happened in
the Croat-controlled area of Stolac, White stated on Thursday.

On the night of 29 December, five houses were destroyed in
Stolac, and three houses were blown up in Kukavac area.
The houses belonged to Muslims and were abandoned.
A day before the Stolac incident, two Serb houses were
destroyed as well, but there was no information as to their
location.
Two abandoned Muslim houses were destroyed by explosions in
Prebilovci and a Muslim house was set afire in Stolac on 30
December.
Local authorities have started investigations into the
incidents, White said.
