Since the beginning of the Serb-Montenegrin aggression on
Croatia, around one thousand Norwegians have participated in the
program 'Peace Network', as well as several hundred thousands of
Norwegian pupils who gathered Christmas presents for Croatian
children.
The fifth Christmas convoy brought from Norway presents
gathered by 80,000 pupils and 2,500 schools.
During 1997, 'Peace Network' would open its office in
Dubrovnik so that cooperation between the Norwegian and Croatian
peoples could continue, Samuelsen said.
