After the meeting, Gyarmati said that he and General
Cosic had discussed Croatian and Hungarian stances concerning
the solution of the crisis in Bosnia and Herzegovina as well
as security questions and efforts the two countries were
taking in order to enter European integration processes as
soon as possible.
If Hungary, and it hopes to, becomes a NATO member, it
will not only represent its interests but also the whole of
the region, Gyarmati said.
Today and tomorrow, the two sides will exchange their
experience in setting up a basic security and defence document
of the two states regardless of changes which may happen in
the region, General Cosic said.
