ZAGREB, Jan 14 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Zlatko Matesa met
US envoy Richard Schifter in Zagreb on Tuesday for talks on the
Southeastern European Cooperative Initiative (SECI) launched by the
United States.
We have agreed that Croatia will cooperate on concrete
projects within the SECI which are of interest to all or a certain
number of the member countries, but any kind of institutional
association is unacceptable, Matesa said after the meeting.
Schifter described the talks as interesting and useful,
expressing a hope that the initiative would be successful.
Schifter is scheduled to visit Slovenia's capital Ljubljana on
Wednesday to discuss the initiative with Slovene officials.
