CROATIA SIGNS MEMORANDUM ON CONTINUATION OF EC MONITORING MISSION

ZAGREB, Dec 21 (Hina) - Croatia on Monday accepted the continuation +of the European Community Monitoring Mission (ECMM) by signing a +document approving its activities, the Foreign Ministry reported +on Monday.+ The Memorandum on Understanding between Croatia and EU member-+countries was signed by Foreign Minister Mate Granic, in keeping +with the conclusions adopted by the Government at its session of +December 18.+ This is the first time Croatia has signed this document with the EU +on a bilateral basis.+ The Memorandum regulates the activities and status of EC monitors +for a period of six months.
