BELGRADE, Dec 11 (Hina) - The Association of Serbs of Croatia on
Friday refuted the conclusions reached by a joint Croatian-
Yugoslav commission which on Thursday assessed in Belgrade that
"progress has been made" in the return of Croatian Serb refugees to
Croatia.
The assessment was "another in a series of deceptions," the
Association said in a statement, because Croatia continued to
"persist in implementing the policy of ethnic cleansing."
The Association also claims the Serbs' property in Croatia "has
been devalued and is sold for a pittance."
The Association further demands the implementation of an agreement
reached between the Foreign Ministers of Croatia and Yugoslavia,
with regard to the release of persons arrested on both sides.
