SARAJEVO, Dec 4 (Hina) - A former US senator Bob Dole will this +weekend visit Bosnia-Herzegovina and Croatia in his capacity as +president of the International Commission for Missing Persons +(ICMP), the ICMP office in Sarajevo
reported on Friday.+ The purpose of the visit is for senator Dole to see for himself what +has been done in solving the problem of missing persons in the two +countries, especially in the process of exhumation and +identification of remains.+ On Saturday, Dole will visit Tuzla (northern BH) and Banja Luka +(north-western BH) and the local facilities where the remains of +exhumed victims are stored. Later during the day, Dole will meet +with members of the BH Presidency in Sarajevo.+ The ICMP president will arrive in Croatia on Sunday.+ The ICMP assesses that considerable progress has been made as +regards missing persons and their identification, but according to

the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), at least
20,000 people in Bosnia are still held missing.
