BUDAPEST, Dec 1 (Hina) - Croatia was on Tuesday officially admitted +to the international community of interest for promotion of tourist +offer of the Danube-basin countries, "Die Donau".+ The community's annual conference ended in
the Hungarian town of +Gyor today.+ Present at the conference were representatives of national tourist +organisations from Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria, +Ukraine and Croatia. Of the Danube-basin countries, only +Yugoslavia and Romania did not attend the meeting, the first one +because of the situation in Kosovo and the latter because it had not +fulfilled the financial obligations towards the community.+ Croatia's representative Zeljko Toncinic informed the meeting of +the situation in the Croatian Danube region, stressing that +developing tourist offer in the area, similar to the one in other +Danube countries, required international capital.+(
