PRESIDENT TUDJMAN MEETS PRESIDENT OF GREEK PARLIAMENT

The Croatian President presented his Greek host with a crystal Vucedol Dove, the symbol of Vukovar, the eastern Croatian war martyr town. Kaklamanis presented Tudjman with a Greek parliament gold medal, and asked him to send an invitation to a Croatian parliament delegation to visit Athens. Before his talks with the president of the Greek parliament, President Tudjman laid a wreath at the grave of the unknown hero, and accompanied by a representative of the Greek Culture Ministry visited the Acropolis, the most well-known ancient monument. Tudjman is heading a high-ranking Croatian delegation on a three- day visit to Greece. Yesterday, he held talks with Greek President Constantinos Stephanopoulos and Premier Kostas Simitis.
