SPECIAL RELATIONS AGREEMENT POLITICISED

SARAJEVO, Nov 16 (Hina) - Bosnia-Herzegovina's Federation President, Ejup Ganic, has called for the convening of a special session of the Federal Parliaments' House of Representatives on Wednesday, to discuss the special relations agreement with Croatia, reported assembly sources in Sarajevo for Hina. Ganic sent his request to the chairman of the House of Representatives stressing its importance after conducting consultations with the "majority of represented parties in the parliament". Representatives of the Croatian Democratic Union for Bosnia- Herzegovina (HDZ B-H) were not included in these consultations. "I requested the sitting be convened because this whole issue has been over-politicised", said Ganic to reporters and added: "One, two or three days are not that critical". He further stated that the "gentlemen in Zagreb can wait a while longer until the consultation process is finished". Ganic stressed on Monday that he considered that the Federal Negotiating team had negotiated a good agreement, although nobody is prepared to deal with what the is actually contained in the agreement. He added that negotiators are keeping their comments to the level of - "I like it, I don't like it, Why do we need special relations when we really need normal relations. As soon as somebody finds a shorter and better path, I will be the first to accept it", he said. (Hina) ab mm /sp
