SARAJEVO, Nov 6 (Hina) - The Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina
Government on Friday assessed that the draft agreement on special
relations with Croatia contained most of the standpoints already
accepted by the Federation.
However, the Government asked for minor changes, mostly concerning
some language formulations.
The Federation Government received the opinion of the Justice
Ministry, which judged the initialled draft agreement on special
relations with Croatia was in accordance with the regulations of
the Federation's Constitution and the state of Bosnia-Herzegovina,
and that it in no way jeopardised its sovereignty and territorial
integrity.
The head of the BH negotiating team, Kasim Trnka, said today that
the agreement was only a "legal framework" for the future
cooperation between the BH Federation and Croatia, and that its
final form remained to be defined through annexes.
Federation President Ejup Ganic told reporters the conclusions the
Federation Government adopted today were only the "retouching" of
the initialled agreement.
Asked whether the agreement would be signed on Monday in Zagreb, as
announced, Ganic said he was not sure about Monday, but believed the
agreement would "certainly be signed in the coming days".
