SARAJEVO, Oct 14 (Hina) - The New Croat Initiative (NHI), a Bosnian
Croat party, on Wednesday forwarded a demand to the international
high representative for Bosnia to initiate the changing of
constitutions of Bosnia's two entities.
The demand was forwarded with the aim to ensure throughout Bosnian
territory full equality of Bosnia's three constituent peoples.
The Croat-Muslim Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina is defined as
the entity with Croats and Muslims as constituent peoples, and the
Bosnian Serb entity, Republika Srpska, as the entity with Serbs as
the only constituent people.
According to NHI president Kresimir Zubak, such constitutions
reduce the rights of certain peoples, thus violating the
regulations of the Bosnian constitution, the peoples' acquired
rights, as well as the Dayton peace agreement.
