ZAGREB, Oct 12 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman on Monday
handed credentials to the newly-appointed ambassadors Drago
Stambuk, Darko Bekic, Zdenko Karakas and Zoran Andric.
Stambuk was appointed Ambassador to Egypt while Bekic was appointed
Ambassador to Portugal.
Karakas and Andric were appointed Ambassadors to Poland and India.
Stressing that all four ambassadors were leaving for new and
responsible posts, President Tudjman expressed hope that they
would devote their work to the improvement of relations between
Croatia and the countries where they are to take up their diplomatic
offices.
