ZAGREB, Oct 2 (Hina) - A delegation of the Croatian National Bank
(HNB) on Friday departed Zagreb to attend the annual International
Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank assembly in Washington.
The HNB delegation, which includes governor Marko Skreb, his deputy
Zdravko Rogic, and deputy manager for relations with international
financial institutions Nina Srkalovic, is accompanied by
representatives of the Ministry of Finance.
According to a HNB statement, during the stay in Washington, the
Croatian delegation is to have several meetings with IMF and World
Bank representatives in charge of monitoring economic and
financial occurrences in Croatia and the realisation of concrete
cooperation programmes.
Also envisaged are talks with representatives of several world
banks, credit rating agencies, as well as the exchange of
experiences with monetary and financial policy top officials from
other countries.
