SARAJEVO, Sept 24 (Hina) - The results of the general elections held
on September 12 and 13 in Bosnia-Herzegovina will be announced at a
special press briefing at 2pm on Friday, the Organisation for
Security and Cooperation in Europe's mission to BH said on Thursday
night.
It is expected that the elections results will be presented by
mission head Robert Barry.
As previously announced, the OSCE will publicise only the number of
votes that have been cast for individual parties and candidates but
not the breakdown on the seats in the various parliaments.
Provisional Election Commission member Mirko Boskovic told Hina
that the commission could release the latter information in three
to four days, along with an official confirmation of the election
results.
That will be followed by the constitution of the government bodies,
starting, probably, with the BH Presidency.
According to the Dayton accords, once the election results are
announced by the OSCE, it will be up to the Office of the High
Representative to oversee their implementation.
