CROATIA TO SIGN PROTOCOL WITH AGREEMENT ON CESSATION OF SPREADING OF NUCLEAR WEAPONS

OF NUCLEAR WEAPONS ( Editorial: --> 1942 ) VIENNA, Sept 21 (Hina) - A Croatian delegation headed by Economy Minister Nenad Porges is attending the General Conference of the International Agency for Atomic Energy (IAEA) in Vienna on Monday. The Conference gathers representatives from over 100 countries. Croatia was on Monday elected, as a member of the eastern European and central European groups of countries, into the conference's main committee. Minister Porges will on Tuesday sign a protocol for the agreement on the cessation of the spreading of nuclear weapons. The Protocol guarantees a bigger transparency of national nuclear programmes.
