BAJAKOVO, Aug 20 (Hina) - A group of 67 Croatian Serbs entered
Croatia via the Bajakovo border crossing from Yugoslavia o
Thursday.
The Serbs left Croatia following Croatian military and police
operations in the summer of 1995.
The returnees headed to their home towns of Gvozd, Vojnic,
Karlovac, Sisak, Pertinja and Slunj in busses.
According to the deputy head of the Regional Office for refugees and
Displaced Persons in Vinkovci (eastern Croatia), Ante Drnic, 105
Serbs were announced to cross the border into Croatia, but as about
forty persons had residences in Kosovo, they probably had not been
informed about the time of departure.
Another eight Serbs entered Croatia around midnight Wednesday
night.
