DUBLIN/ZAGREB, Sept 4 (Hina) - Croatian Deputy Foreign Minister Ivo
Sanader on Friday gave a presentation on the strategic goals of
Croatian foreign policy, and on Croatian-Irish relations, at a
conference in Dublin organised by the Croatian-Irish Chamber of
Commerce.
In less than seven years Croatia has resolved all national tasks
through military and diplomatic activity, Sanader told a gathering
of more than 150.
In attendance were the vice-president of the Irish parliament's
foreign affairs committee and former Foreign Minister Michael
O'Kennedy, as well as the heads of Ireland's leading banks and
business firms.
Croatia's main political goals include European and transatlantic
integration, especially in the European Union, NATO and the World
Trade Organisation, said Sanader.
He pointed out to Croatia's role as a factor of stability in the
region.
Sanader also outlined data on Croatian economic achievements,
focusing on indicators favourable for foreign inventors.
The Deputy Foreign Minister called on Irish inventors to increase
their business activity in Croatia.
O'Kennedy emphasised Irish businessmen were favourably inclined
for investing in Croatia, saying he was sure Croatia and Ireland
would further advance mutual relations.
