PRISTINA, Sept 2 (Hina) - Both Albanian and Serbian sources have
reported fierce clashes between the Serbian and Albanian forces
south-west of Prizren, near the Yugoslav-Albanian border.
Attacks on the Prizren suburb of Tusus and another eight villages
near the Prizren-Zhur road have continued, the Kosovo Information
Centre reported on Wednesday.
A number of Albanians were killed in the attacks, the same source
said.
The bodies of seven killed Albanians have been transported to
Prizren hospital only.
The pro-government Media Centre said that at least 15 members of the
Kosovo Liberation Army were killed yesterday and today in villages
near Prizren.
Two Serbian police officers were wounded in the clashes, the same
source said.
International monitors have tried to enter the attacked areas but
so far without any result, sources from Prizren said.
Kosovo Albanian sources claim that at least 20,000 people have left
their homes in the Prizren area in the last two days.
