ZAGREB, 16 Aug (Hina) - Representatives of the Croatian and Swedish
tenants' associations signed a cooperation agreement in Zagreb on
Sunday.
The agreement was signed by the associations' presidents Marijan
Babic and Anders Konradsson.
Both organisations are members of the International Association of
Tenants and are to appear jointly in projects involving the
European Union and help in organising tenants' associations in
countries in transition.
The Swedish delegation spent several days in Croatia in order to get
acquainted with the situation in the housing sector.
They expressed satisfaction with the work of the Croatian
Association which has been awarded with the Olaf Palme Institute
award as one of the best organisations of its kind in countries in
transition.
