SARAJEVO, July 28 (Hina) - Offices of the Croatian Democratic Union
of Bosnia-Herzegovina (HDZ BiH) which were opened on Monday will
soon become the headquarters of HDZ BiH president Ante Jelavic.
"Sections of the HDZ BiH centre already began functioning in
Sarajevo and they will also continue work in Mostar," deputy
president of the party's Main Committee, Mladen Bevanda, told Hina
on Tuesday.
"Sarajevo is the capital of the Bosnian Federation and the state of
Bosnia-Herzegovina, numerous embassies, centres of state and
international organisations are located here and this will ensure a
better communication between them, the HDZ BiH members and the
party's officials," Bevanda said.
He stressed that this way they also wanted to refute claims by all
those who had said that the HDZ BiH did not care sufficiently for the
capital as well as that its presence here was insufficient.
