ZAGREB, July 3 (Hina) - Croatian National Parliament president
Vlatko Pavletic on Friday received the British Ambassador to
Croatia, Colin Munro.
Pavletic and Munro held talks on a project of the British Council in
Zagreb to stage an exhibition of about 400 books at the Croatian
parliament.
The exhibition will focus on the political system, human rights and
the governing system.
Pavletic welcomed the project and hoped a lecture will be made by a
British intellectual, author or philosopher.
He also said he expected Croatian publishers and translators will
be interested in publishing some of the exhibited books in
Croatian.
Pavletic was also interested in the possibility of exchanging
parliamentary delegation visits.
Munro informed Pavletic about preparations for the exhibition and
other activities of the British Council in Zagreb.
