ZAGREB, June 25 (Hina) - A two-day seminar "Civil and military
cooperation of the National Guard of Minnesota with the structures
of local and federal civil institutions of the United States and
Minnesota" started in Zagreb on Thursday.
The seminar is being held at the Croatian Defence Ministry as part
of successful military cooperation between Croatia and the United
States.
During the seminar, members of the National Guard of Minnesota will
discuss the history, organisation and tasks of the National Guard
as well as the US Constitution and questions concerning military
support for civil authorities and a programme on drug abuse
prevention.
Along with Defence Ministry representatives, the seminar is
attended by representatives from the Interior Ministry and the
Ministry of Traffic and Communications.
