ZAGREB, June 23 (Hina) - Croatian Reconstruction and Development
Minister Jure Radic on Tuesday held talks with the Bolivian
Economic Development Minister Ivo Kuljis, who is visiting
Croatia.
According to Vladimir Loncarevic, a spokesman of the Croatian
Ministry of Reconstruction and Development, the Bolivian minister,
who is of Croatian origin, was interested in the privatisation
process and possibilities of investing in Croatia, in the
demographic development of Croatian islands and possibilities of
using Croatian seaports in Bolivia's trade with European
countries.
Croatian emigrants in Bolivia and their descendants are interested
in investing in Croatia, said Kuljis, who within his government is
in charge of advancing power supply and communications in
particular.
Only about 1,000 Croats live in Bolivia but, according to
Loncarevic, 80 per cent television channels in that country are
owned by Croatian emigrants.
