ZAGREB, June 2 (Hina) - Croatian Foreign Minister Mate Granic
Tuesday received the director of the World Trade Organisation's
department for acceding countries, Arif Hussain, who is on a three-
day visit to Croatia at the invitation of Economy Minister Nenad
Porges.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,
talks focused on Croatia's access to European and world integration
processes and in particular Croatia's interest to be included in
economic integration as soon as possible.
The Foreign Minister acquainted his guest with the strategic goals
of Croatia's foreign policy.
Granic pointed out Croatia's commitment to be included in European
and world integration processes.
"On that road, Croatia is interested in a prompt inclusion in
economic, alongside political and security integration", Granic
said.
He assessed the process of Croatia's access to the WTO as good and
hoped it would be successfully completed soon, the statement said.
The Foreign Minister also acquainted his guest with the course of
negotiations on an economy cooperation agreement between Croatia
and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
