DUBROVNIK, June 5 (Hina) - The crew of the Kauffman, a US frigate
which is visiting Dubrovnik this week, carried out a joint drill
with Croatian Navy personnel on Friday.
According to commander George Karol, the drill presented an
opportunity for the two forces to meet and get to know each other.
The commander and his associates visited Dubrovnik's cultural
monuments.
US Ambassador to Croatia William Montgomery is to visit the crew on
Saturday.
