SARAJEVO, 2 June (Hina)- Speaking after his meeting on Tuesday with
a delegation of the German Government, headed by Defence Minister
Volker Ruehe, the provincial of the Franciscan province Bosna
Srebrena Petar Andjelovic said the talks had focused on the return
of refugees to their homes.
"The meeting was initiated by the German delegation, which wanted
to hear the views of Bosnian Franciscans regarding the return of
refugees", father Andjelovic told Hina.
He explained that Minister Ruehe wanted to find out in particular
who was obstructing the return of refugees to Drvar and some other
BH areas and why. The delegation also inquired about the problems
besetting the return of Serbs to Croatia, but that was not discussed
separetely.
According to father Andjelovic, German Defence Minister reiterated
his Government would do its best to make the return of refugees
possible, with full respect of humanitarian concerns.
"Both we in BH and Germans want to see everybody returning to their
homes", the provincial of the Bosnian Franciscans said.
