ZAGREB, May 27 (Hina) - The Croatian President's Chief-Of-Staff,
Hrvoje Sarinic, Wednesday received the head of the Organisation for
Security and Cooperation in Europe mission in Croatia, Tim
Guldimann.
Guldimann asserted progress had been made in the five months of his
mission's activity in Croatia.
He pointed out however to existing problems, especially in the
return of refugees, said a statement from the Croatian President's
Office.
Guldimann said progress was also expected as concerned freedom of
the media and further democratisation of society.
Croatia has made great progress since taking full control in the
Danube River region in the east, said Sarinic.
The refugee return process is continuing in spite of difficulties,
he emphasised.
Also present at the meeting were Sarinic's deputy Vesna Skare-
Ozbolt and the Croatian President's advisor for foreign affairs
Neven Madey.
