ZAGREB, May 2 (Hina) - The French Academy of Sciences and Arts
awarded a silver medal to Croatian poet Ivanka Orsulic Paul for her
cultural and artistic activities in France, the Croatian Homeland
Foundation said.
Living in France since 1965, Ms. Orsulic Paul is a distinguished
translator and interpreter who has also devoted much time and
energy to promoting cultural links between Croatia and France.
She is the founder of Ideal, a humanitarian organisation which is
especially active in fostering friendship between the two
nations.
Ms. Orsolic-Paul was also decorated with the Croatian Wickerwork
Order this month.
