ORTHODOX EASTER CELEBRATED IN ZAGREB

( Editorial: --> 7863 ) ZAGREB, April 19 (Hina) - Faithful of the Serb Orthodox Church on Sunday celebrated the greatest Christian religious holiday, Easter, under the Julian calendar. The Zagreb Serb Orthodox Church parishioner, Milenko Popovic, served Mass, at the end of which he read a message from Patriarch Pavle. "The Orthodox Church has through centuries been revealing and discovering the truth to the world of resurrection as a victory of life over death... Eternal life is a union of love of all people, notwithstanding their gender, age, or social affiliation, because we are all one when we receive Communion from the same daily bread," Patriarch Pavle said in his message.
