CROATIA AND MACEDONIA SIGN CO-OPERATION AGREEMENT

( Editorial: --> 5917 ) SKOPJE, Apr 9 (Hina)- Croatian Minister of Urban development, Construction and Housing Marko Sirac and Macedonian Minister of Urban Planning and Construction Tome Trombev signed on Thursday in Skopje a protocol on co-operation in the area of construction between their two countries. After signing of the protocol Minister Sirac said Croatia eagerly accepted Macedonia's initiative for co-operation between Croatian and Macedonian construction companies and their joint ventures in the third countries. The agreement also paves the way for co-operation in the areas of science and economy and the exchange of know how, Sirac said. Minister Trombev said he hoped that signing of the agreement would enable Croatian and Macedonian construction companies to resume their past successful co-operation. On Friday Minister Marko Sirac will be received by Macedonian Prime Minister Branko Crvenkovski. (Hina) mm mr 092131 MET apr 98
