ZAGREB, April 15 (Hina) - The Croatian House of Representatives
will on Thursday hold separate debates on the topic "Croatia and
International Policy" and a report on the implementation of the
program of two-way return and accommodation of displaced persons
and refugees in regard to requests by the international community.
The MPs agreed to debate the two mentioned topics tomorrow but had
different views as to whether there should be only one debate.
While Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) representatives supported
the idea of a joint debate, emphasising that international
pressures on Croatia originated mainly from the stand of
international factors that the process of the return of Serbs was
moving slowly, opposition representatives believed that the two
topics should be considered separately.
A short break was necessary for a final agreement on the method of
work, after which it was decided that the two topics would be
debated separately.
