ZAGREB, April 2 (Hina) - A Croatian parliamentary delegation will
participate in the spring conference of the Interparliamentary
Union in Namibia's capital Windhoek, to be held from April 5 to 11.
The conference will focus on the prevention of conflicts, the
restoration of peace and trust in countries which have just emerged
from war, the return of refugees, the strengthening of democratic
processes and acceleration of reconstruction.
German parliamentarians proposed that an additional item - the
situation in Kosovo - be included in the conference's agenda.
The Croatian delegation is led by Slobodan Lang, presidential
advisor on humanitarian issues and representative in the House of
Counties, and includes also House of Representatives' members Ivan
Milas (Croatian Democratic Union, HDZ), Zdravka Busic (HDZ) and
Antun Vujic (Social-Democratic Party, SDP).
