VUKOVAR, April 8 (Hina) - Exhumation at the new Vukovar cemetery
"Dubrave" could begin around 20 April.
Around 1,200 bodies are expected to be exhumed, head of the Croatian
government Commission for Missing and Imprisoned Persons, Ivan
Grujic, said Wednesday.
The exhumation will last some 90 days and will be carried out by 27
people.
"The Health Ministry will put together two teams to identify the
bodies on a daily basis, and we presume that we will be able to
identify about 20 exhumed bodies a day," Grujic said.
"We have carried out extensive preparations and we have a file with
relevant data for every person buried there, and I hope that a large
number of people will be identified based on the data, Grujic said.
