GENEVA, March 30 (Hina) - Croatia handed over a document on the
ratification of the Patent Cooperation Treaty to the World
Organisation for Intellectual Property in Geneva on Monday, by
which it has become a party to the agreement.
The Treaty is one of the most important international documents in
the field of intellectual property.
The document on ratification was handed over by the director of the
Croatian Government Institute for Intellectual Property, Nikola
Kopcic, to the director of the World Organisation for Intellectual
Property, Kamil Idris.
In the framework of this organisation, Croatia has taken on the role
of 1998 regional co-ordinator for central European countries and
the Baltic states.
