ZAGREB, March 26 (Hina) - Croatia's national air carrier "Croatia
Airlines" has introduced regular Zagreb-Tel Aviv return flights in
its summer timetable (to be effective from March 29 to October 24,
1998). The Zagreb-Tel Aviv line will operate on Mondays.
Changes were also introduced on regular lines, including 14 charter
flights from several towns in Germany, in order to meet increased
passenger demand during the forthcoming tourist season.
At a press conference held on Thursday, "Croatia Airlines" general
director Ivan Misetic said additional flights on regular return
lines from Zagreb to Rome and Duesseldorf and from Split and
Dubrovnik to London were introduced as well.
Summer season flights from Split, Pula and Dubrovnik to Manchester
and London, as well as from Split and Dubrovnik to London are
envisaged as well.
The delivery of the second out of six ordered A319 planes, to be
included in "Croatia Airlines" fleet by the year 2000, is expected
at the beginning of June.
