ZAGREB, Mar 24 (Hina) - Croatian National Bank's foreign reserves
in January 1998 amounted to US$2.4 billion, which is US$134.9
million less than late last year, and US$231 million more than
January 1997, the Bank said Tuesday.
According to the bank's data, US$143.2 million referred to special
draft rights, which is US$3.9 million less than at the end of 1997,
US$1.98 billion referred to currency and deposits, which is US$27.1
million less than at the end of 1997, and US$276.2 million referred
to bonds and due bills, which is US$104 million less than in late
1997.
