ZAGREB, Mar 2 (Hina) - Croatian Foreign Minister Mate Granic Monday
received the World Bank director in charge of cooperation with
Croatia, Arntraud Hartmann.
A foreign ministry statement said Hartmann introduced Granic to the
head of the World Bank office in Zagreb, Sados Sipos.
Granic said central European and Euro-Atlantic integrations were
the strategic priority of Croatia's foreign policy.
Croatia expects the process of normalisation of relations with the
Federal Republic of Yugoslavia to continue and strongly supports
the peace process in Bosnia-Herzegovina based on the Washington and
Dayton peace agreements, the foreign minister said.
Hartmann acquainted Granic with the World bank's strategic aims and
cooperation programme with Croatia in the next three-year period.
Special interest was shown for pension and education system
projects, and projects regarding power supply and road
infrastructure.
Sipos handed Granic a World Bank report on Croatia entitled
"Croatia Beyond Stabilisation."
