CRO CULTURE MINISTER VISITS CHINESE OFFICE FOR CULTURAL HERITAGE

( Editorial: --> 4758 ) BEIJING, Feb 26 (Hina) - Croatian Minister of Culture Bozo Biskupic visited the National Office for Cultural Heritage in Beijing on Thursday where he had talks with the office's general director and deputy minister Zhang Wenbinom. Biskupic and Zhang discussed projects which are planned for the next three year period as part of the overall Programme for the Sino-Croatian Cooperation in Culture and Education, which is scheduled to be signed on Friday. Minister Biskupic particularly talked about Croatia's wish to present the exhibition, "1,000 Years of Croatian Sculpture", to the Chinese public. The two ministers discussed the cooperation of Croatian and Chinese experts for the restoration of antiquities. Chinese experience in restoration could assist Croatia in restoring heritage which was damaged during the Homeland War. (hina) jn mrb 261713 MET feb 98
