SARAJEVO, Feb 19 (Hina) - Directors of the Bosnia-Herzegovina Radio
and Television and the Independent Television of Banja Luka, Amil
Omersoftic and Zoran Kalinic, respectively, signed a cooperation
protocol between the two television companies in Sarajevo on
Thursday.
This is the first such cooperation between the Bosnian Federation
and Republika Srpska since the signing of the Dayton Agreement.
As the Bosnia-Herzegovina Radio announced Thursday, the signed
protocol envisaged an exchange of economic and political
information in the whole of the country, and the "broadcasting of
news that promote peace, human rights and freedoms, as well as the
economic stability of the country".
Omersoftic and Kalinic said that the two television companies also
had to be connected directly, by technical means, so that the
exchange of information could improve.
