ZAGREB, Feb 13 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman on
Thursday evening received Cardinal Franjo Kuharic, the former head
of the Catholic Church in Croatia.
Tudjman and Kuharic spoke about experiences of the Church and state
authority in the normalisation of relations with the Serb
population in Croatia and the overall relations between the Church
and Croatian state.
Tudjman informed Kuharic about the preparations for the 4th General
Assembly of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ), the President's
Office said in a statement on Friday.
