MOSTAR, 3 Feb (Hina) - The head of police in Stolac was suspended
from duty on Tuesday after a series of incidents which occurred in
the southern town in Bosnia-Herzegovina last month.
The public relations office of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton's
Interior Ministry announced on Tuesday that because of the
incidents in Stolac municipality, the Commissioner of the
International Police Task Force (IPTF) in Bosnia-Herzegovina,
Manfred Seitner, "revoked the licence of the head of Stolac's
Police Department, Jozo Matic".
Because of this the Canton Interior Minister Valentin Coric
suspended Jozo Matic from duty and replaced him with Mirko
Boskovic, the ministry's statement said.
