CRO PARLIAMENT SPEAKER RECEIVES GERMAN BUSINESS DELEGATION

( Editorial: --> 8597 ) ZAGREB, 31 Jan (Hina) - Croatian Parliament speaker Vlatko Pavletic on Saturday received Senator Erich Schumann, owner of the German concern WAZ, and his associates. WAZ is the owner of a large number of newspapers in Germany, Austria, Hungary and Bulgaria, which have the overall circulation of 3.5 million copies. WAZ also owns several printing works. As an owner, WAZ does not influence editorial policy. The concern sees Croatia as a Central-European country with good prospects. During his visit to Zagreb, Schumann signed a contract with the Zagreb Paper Mill on the production of newsprint paper.
