PRISTINA, 13 January (Hina) - Following the recent killings of
Albanians and Serbs in Kosovo and attacks on the members and
buildings of the Serbian police force, an organisation of Serbs and
Montenegrins in Kosovo, "Bozur", announced that a rally, named
"People against Albanian Terrorism" will be held on Tuesday, 13
January at Kosovo Polje.
"Bozur" was renowned in the 1980s when it headed anti-Albanian
rallies, one in particular held at Kosovo Polje which promoted
Milosevic as the Serbian national leader.
A former senior official in Kosovo Azem Vllasi, who was forcefully
removed by Belgrade authorities from the street rallies organised
by Serbs and Montenegrins in Kosovo in 1989, told Hina on Monday
evening that the again activated rallies by Serbs in Kosovo were
attempts by the Serbian regime to postpone resolving the Kosovo
issue.
