BELGRADE, 6 Jan (Hina) - UN Transitional Administrator in Eastern
Slavonia William Walker held talks with the Serbian President Milan
Milutinovic in Belgrade Tuesday.
The Croatian government was fulfilling its share of obligations,
Walker said following the talks.
He added that the Serb community in the Croatian Danube river region
was well-organised.
There were several unsolved questions, but the situation in the
Danube river region was 'generally good', Walker said, adding the
number of people leaving the area was not disturbing.
Talks with Milutinovic also included the problem of dual
citizenship.
The international community believed that the solution of that
question would lessen tensions in the region, he said.
However, that was a complex problem for Yugoslavia because of
unsolved questions such as the return of refugees and restitution
of their property, the UN Transitional Administrator said.
