SARAJEVO, 6 Jan (Hina) - The Croat member of the Bosnian Presidency,
Kresimir Zubak, received Kai Eide, special envoy of the U.N.
Secretary General, in Sarajevo on Tuesday.
According to a statement from Zubak's office, the two officials
discussed the current political situation in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Zubak thanked Eide for his personal contribution and that of the
U.N. mission to strengthening peace in the country.
At the end of this week, Eide is to leave Sarajevo for Vienna, where
he is to take up the post of Norway's ambassador with the
Organisation for Security and Cooperation (OSCE).
Eide's successor in Sarajevo is Elizabeth Rehn, special U.N.
rapporteur on human rights in the former Yugoslavia.
